Mawdsleys are pleased to announce the appointment of Gary Cox as Sales Manager for our Key accounts, with a special focus on naval business throughout the UK and Europe. Gary joins Mawdsleys having worked for Flowserve for many years, Gary’s experience and customer contacts are a huge plus for Mawdsleys and the growth of the business.
Gary is an experienced sales professional with a background in customer facing / customer service positions with a corporate global leading pump manufacturer. He spent many years as an engineer with Flowserve and its heritage brand companies handling customers in Oil & Gas, Power, Water and General Industry. Then went on to manage the Aftermarket Parts business for the UK facility.
For the last 10 years he has had responsibility for naval business as Sales Manager, this role included equipment supply to BAE for submarines and he was instrumental in negotiating and executing project support for the HESS pump contract with Babcock International for through life support of the Royal Navy submarine fleet.
The Naval Sector has been one of our specialist sectors for years, with work being carried out on the new Frigates by Mawdsleys – introducing Gary to the team will allow us to expand our offerings in this sector and beyond.
